Superstition by The Birthday Massacre
From the album “Superstition” released in 2014
kill the lights // the birthday massacre
we kill the lights and put on a show
it’s all a lie, but you’d never know
your star will shine and then it will fall
and you will forget it all
An imitation, a fabrication
A pretty fake, a counterfeit
An empty carcass behind the artist
Is there a trace of innocence?
This theme clearly describes them. Lamb being the piano, and Wolf the cello.
The final raid boss of the previous Final Fantasy XIV expansion (Heavensward) was the angelic soul of a giant robot with time manipulation powers, that you fought in the core of the robot itself and also had the power to summon itself inside of itself. One of the mechanics consisted of being teleported to the past to stop yourself from being killed in a cutscene and if you fail the mechanic you die due to time paradox. One of its attacks is named Inception.
You’d expect a boss themed after holiness and time travel to have epic orchestral bombing music but it actually plays fast goblin rap rock that gets replaced by elevator music anytime the boss stops time.
